The audiovisual services for events from enbex cover the full technical production: sound, lighting, LED screens, staging, cameras and multi-camera directing, at in-person, online and hybrid events.
We design the production, set up the equipment and run it with our own technicians, and we connect it to the event's network and broadcast. We work as the technical team of the agency, production company or brand, from our facilities on Calle Luis I in Madrid.

Sound
Sound for rooms, stages and outdoor spaces, with technicians throughout the event.

Lighting adapted to each space and to what will be broadcast.
LED screens
LED screens, sized to the room and the audience's distance. At the Papal Mass in Cibeles, the feed reached screens located between 300 m and 2 km away.
Set design and decoration
Custom staging, because the stage is part of the brand image too.
Cameras and live directing
Cameras and multi-camera directing, with graphics.
Recording
Session recording, so the content stays available after the event.
Online production and studio
Studio, online events, event website and webinars.
Event network and internet
The event's network and internet, from the same technical team.
How we run a production
We visit the venue and review the running order and technical rider with the agency or production company.
We design the production: cameras, sound, lighting, screens and streaming.
We prepare and test the equipment at our facilities before taking it to the venue.
We install and test everything on site before doors open.
We operate the live directing, sound and screens throughout the event.
We record and deliver the feeds or sessions, if the event requires it.
We dismantle and remove everything at the end.
Audio and video over IP
At a large live event, video and audio travel over the network. At enbex we design and operate that network as part of the production, using broadcast standards: this is how we get the signal to any point in the venue, in sync and with a second path at the critical points.
SMPTE ST 2110
Video, audio and data as independent IP streams over the same network, as at the Papal Mass in Cibeles.
Dante and AES67
Networked audio that works across manufacturers: with AES67 and ST 2110-30, Dante and broadcast equipment share the same network.
PTP sync
PTP (IEEE 1588) time reference with a Meinberg grandmaster clock and backup, so picture and sound stay in phase across the whole venue.
SRT encoding and decoding
Encrypted contribution over the internet with H.264 or HEVC encoders and a backup encoder, as at the Champions League final.
A network designed for audiovisual
Arista and Cisco switches, controlled multicast and separate networks for video, audio, control and staff. Each service gets its own rack and batteries.
Live monitoring
A NOC monitors the network and the signals in real time throughout the event.

What breaks in a production when the technology fails
Before designing, we look at what depends on each signal and what happens if it fails. In a live production, these are usually the four critical points:

enbex has been handling the technical side of events across Spain and abroad for more than 15 years, including the Champions League final in Paris. Audio, video and networks can be handled by the same team, as in Paris, and then our audiovisual services for events give you a single point of contact for the whole technical side. Enrique Romero, co-founder of enbex, has designed and operated event networks and broadcast production since 2009. Our technicians hold certifications including CCNA, CCNP Enterprise with an SD-WAN specialisation, and CWNA. The company is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 and under Spain's National Security Framework (ENS).
Frequently asked questions
What do your audiovisual services for events include?
They include production design, equipment and technicians for sound, lighting, LED screens, staging, cameras and directing, plus session recording. If the event needs it, we add the network, internet and live streaming. You have a single point of contact for the event's entire technical side.
Do you organise the event?
No. We are the technical team for the agency, production company or brand that organises it. The content, speakers, guests and communications are theirs; we design, install and operate everything that makes it seen, heard and broadcast.
Can you produce an online or hybrid event?
Yes. We handle directing, the studio, the event website and the stream. For Messi's PSG debut, the live show was produced from a studio in Madrid with the feed coming in from France, and half a million people were watching on Twitch at the peak. See our online events.
What happens if a signal fails during the live show?
We plan for it before it happens, because there is no room to fix things live. At the 2022 Champions League final, encoding and the network were redundant, and at Messi's debut the critical equipment had backup power, so every production is designed with its own backup based on what depends on each signal.
Do you work outside Madrid?
Yes. We work all over Spain and abroad: the 2022 Champions League final was produced at the Stade de France in Paris. The team sets out from our Madrid facilities with all the equipment already tested.
How far in advance should it be booked?
It depends on the size of the production. The sooner we know the venue, the running order and the technical rider, the more time there is to design the production, prepare the equipment and test everything on site.
